Are you concerned about the direction of public education in our state? Join teachers, parents and concerned citizens for Solidarity Sunday, a rally for public education! This event will be Sunday, September 21st from 2:30-4:00pm at White Horse Black Mountain. We'll hear from speakers who will talk about what they see happening first hand in our schools and we'll also hear via teleconference from former Governor Jim Hunt, who helped make North Carolina a leader in public education. We'll also have a few musical guests, so bring your friends and family for a great afternoon celebrating public education!

Former North Carolina Governor, Jim Hunt
Buncombe County Association of Educators President, Robyn Pass
Asheville Middle School Teacher, Tori Angelotti
Owen High School Teacher, Adrienne Hollifield
